2007 British Rowathlon Series
Rowathlons are similar to a triathlon except that the first 'swimming leg' is replaced by a stint on the Indoor Rower. After a recent change in organisers, the British Rowathlon series is now in its fifth year and the series is made up of the following races:

Venues
Mallory Park: A unique race circuit venue with a real countrified feel to it. Thronged with trees, the track surrounds a large lake, teaming with wildlife and water birds.
Castle Combe: The original British Rowathlon venue, with a fast traffic-free circuit and pit-lane transitions.
Reading: The Palmer Park Stadium with athletics track and cycle velodrome makes for some fast and furious racing with great views for spectators, in this super-sprint style rowathlon.
Dorney Lake: The spectacular rowing venue for the 2012 Olympic Games, set in a 400-acre park, near Windsor. The longest of the rowathlon distances, but still completely traffic-free.
